![]() "Bet still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act." - Psalm 37:7 We all want the best lives we can possibly live. Who wouldn't?! Sometimes we just have to wait - either for the best to arrive or for us to realize the best is already here and we just didn't recognize it. Which are you? ![]() "And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow - not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love." - Romans 8:38 Paul of Tarsus wrote this ages ago. He was fought, abused, both verbally and physically, and thrown in jail for his testimony of Jesus. Afterward, they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him." - James 1:12. Don't give in. Don't give up. Hold on for the blessing. Through Christ, you can endure all that life throws at you and receive the crown that God promises. ![]() "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." - 2 Corinthians 5:17. God gives us so many promises to rely on. We are loved, cherished, and accepted. We are forgiven and redeemed. Today's promise is different. In Christ, we are new. Rely on that promise today. ![]() "Count it all joy when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. Adn let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." - James 1:2-4 Sometimes, maybe most times, the best things are hard. They don't come easy. They take work and time. This passage reminds us to keep our joy in those times because we know that something wonderful is coming. |
