god is light. in him there is no darkness at all

"This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him, there is no darkness at all." - 1 John 1:5

We can't understand what it means that God is light. We know he is completely pure, without any of the shadows we carry with us. We can see his effect on people as he warms them and gives them life. But some parts of God are just a mystery. Are you OK with living in that mystery, or are you ready for more?
