This old world has a way of blinding us from the truth of who we really are...who God says we are. You don't have to believe what someone else calls you or labels you. Thank God today for your real identity: who you are in Christ. May your words express your gratitude to Him, for you are a friend of the King, valued, loved, and redeemed. Thank him that you are not what the world says you are, but what He says you are. Pray that He would reveal someone who needs your help in learning who they are in Him.

Scripture readings for today: John 15:15, Romans 3:22-25, Romans 8:35-37

    thank god for...

Every day through the end of November, we challenge you to focus on an aspect of gratitude and to read the accompanying scripture. Let's set aside time to show our gratitude for all that God has done and will do in our lives.
