Ash Wednesday is about refocusing and realigning ourselves in relationship to God and one another. We must encounter our sinfulness and frailty, not with shame and blame, but with honesty and truth, trusting that God receives our confession.
Ash Wednesday worship service is held at Church of the Pines on February 14th, at 6:00 p.m. with the imposition of ashes. |

On Palm Sunday, we celebrate and welcome Jesus into Jerusalem and we hear the true depth of his love for us in the Passion story form the Gospel of Mark.
March 24 - 10:00 a.m.
Do you let God express His Love to you? Or do you, like Peter, draw away for a moment? On March 28 at 7:00 p.m., let God tell you how much you are loved. Receive it. Let it wash over you. Let it fill you to overflowing.
On Good Friday, March 29th, at 12:00 p.m., we will hear the passion of Christ and experience, with the disciples, the darkening of the world as Christ goes to the cross.
Oh, the depth of the divine love we have experienced leading up to this day. What 'wight of glory' we see this day as the cross and tomb stand empty before us. Yet where is Jesus? Mark tells us that will will see him as he said. But where? So, we look to see Jesus!“ He is risen indeed!
