Review of Impact: Special Mission Focus 2024:
Increasing food security in our
community and throughout the world.
Last fall, Paul Webster, a retired missionary to Zambia, preached in worship about the far-reaching effects of the Mujila Falls Agricultural Center. He used the metaphor of ripples on water spreading outward to describe the center's work. It was a powerful message that reminded us that any action increasing food security has a far-reaching impact.
Ripples spreading outward is a good way of describing our first year of increasing food security. The ripples all come from the dedicated people of the Church of the Pines with a passion for feeding the hungry who donated time, food, and money to our community and beyond.
In 2024, we made an impact through learning, serving, and giving.
