Lakeland Pantry needs fresh produce this summer! Can you help
While the Lakeland Pantry receives no direct government funding, some of its suppliers do. Government cuts have impacted the Lakeland Pantry suppliers’ ability to provide fresh produce. Since the Pantry clients depend on the Pantry for fresh produce, we are asking members and friends of Church of the Pines to “sow a row of veggies” to donate to the Lakeland Pantry throughout the summer.
Harvested veggies and fruit from your garden can be brought to the church, and we will arrange for them to be delivered to the Lakeland Pantry as part of our Ministry Focus on increasing food security for our neighbors. More information will be included in upcoming Weekly Updates.
