Harvest Dinner — Saturday, November 7. Gather around the table for good food, warm fellowship, and a wonderful way to support our 2026 Special Mission Focus!
Church of the Pines invites you to our Harvest Dinner on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Doors will open at 4:00 p.m., with dinner served beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Enjoy a hearty harvest meal featuring ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, corn casserole, rolls, salad, dessert, coffee, milk, and water.
Tickets: $15 per person. Advance ticket sales begin September 1 at the church.
Proceeds from the Harvest Dinner will benefit Church of the Pines' 2026 Special Mission Focus: Increasing Food Security Locally and Worldwide, helping us continue our commitment to addressing hunger in our community and beyond.

Faith in Action – Making a Difference Beyond Midwest Mission!
What a wonderful way to conclude our Church of the Pines Mission Team's week of service at Midwest Mission in Pawnee, Illinois!
This video highlights a shipment of much-needed supplies sent out yesterday to help people in need. If you look closely, you'll see our Church of the Pines Mission Team, along with other dedicated volunteers, in the background!
It's especially meaningful to see the results of everyone's hard work and know the items our volunteers helped prepare are now on their way to make a difference in others' lives. Every kit assembled, every box packed, and every pallet prepared represents more than supplies—it represents hope, compassion, and God's love in action.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to Midwest Mission for welcoming our team and providing such a meaningful opportunity to serve. We are grateful for the friendships, fellowship, and shared commitment to helping others that made this week so special.
Our Mission Team returns home with wonderful memories, a deeper appreciation for Midwest Mission's important work, and the satisfaction of knowing their efforts will touch lives far beyond Pawnee, Illinois.
We look forward to our next Mission Team trip and another opportunity to put our faith into action!
